Fun Facts:
- My right pinky finger is 1 cm shorter than my left pinky finger
- I have a metal plate and 8 screws in my right ankle (broke my ankle during a field course in San Salvador, Bahamas)
- I studies tropical ecology in Costa Rica during my Junior year of college (summer course)
- I met my husband through rock climbing. Our second date was at the top of a 90 foot climb in the New River Gorge, WV.
- I spent my summers growing up in Canada and learned to race sailboats up there starting at 8 years old.
- I decided I wanted to be a teacher during my freshman year of high school so I joined Future Teachers of America and started tutoring in the resource room.
- I have taught almost every sport I have played (except skiing, swimming, and basketball). I love being a student as much as I love being a teacher!
